Maryhaven is Central Ohio's largest and most comprehensive behavioral health services provider, specializing in addiction recovery. Founded in 1953, the organisation has served more than 350,000 men, women, and adolescents throughout its history. Its operations span Columbus and several surrounding counties, including Union, Delaware, Marion, Morrow, and Crawford.
The provider offers services at all stages of recovery, encompassing 24/7 inpatient and outpatient care, medically assisted treatment (using Methadone, Suboxone, and Vivitrol), cognitive behavioural and other evidence-based therapies, and individual, group, and family counselling for both adolescents and adults. A dedicated CARE Team provides ongoing encouragement and problem-solving support for clients who may be struggling or considering leaving treatment.
Maryhaven's approach treats recovery as a collaborative journey rather than an isolated process. The organisation works closely with 12-step programmes and peer-to-peer recovery groups, recognising their role in long-term recovery success.
