InterVarsity

About

InterVarsity is a Christian campus ministry founded in 1941, with roots at Cambridge University and operations across the United States. The organisation maintains witnessing communities on more than 700 campuses, serving over 40,000 students and faculty. It is connected to the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students, which spans over 160 countries.

The ministry employs approximately 1,500 staff members who work to create communities for exploring faith, building friendships, and growing as disciples. Its chapters welcome all students, with specific outreaches to athletes, artists, international students, nurses, and ethnic minority groups.

InterVarsity also operates two notable programmes: InterVarsity Press, a publishing arm that resources the broader church, and the Urbana missions conferences, which call students to participate in global mission work.
